i have two final exams later this afternoon and im still blogging. I havent studied yet but the hell, im a "sabog" person so ill continue typing. (patapon mode..)
Since i have my finals later, i thought of writing something about my experiences and how i never get disappointed with my test results. That's kinda weird for a pothead like me not to get dissapointed with grades but i really dont get disappointed. Let's just say that i found the "answer." I found the golden goblet. Getting disapointed is but a thing of the past for me.
A lot of people get disappointed most especially when they get low grades. But what and why do they get disappointed? We can say that we get disappointed because we got low grades and that we know that we could have done better. Also we get disappointed because we expect a higher grade due to the fact that we studied and shed blood for that test adn if it weren't for that asshole/bitch teacher, we should have gotten a higher grade. We now know why so why not counter it. My formula is basically realization. Warm up by realizing your true potential. Tell yourself that you can do well and that if you study
you can get higher grades. The next step is the most crucial part. You have to prepare yourself.
It would require a lot to be accomplished. So what is the next step? DONT STUDY. Prepare yourself by doing all sorts of things but dont study. Listen to music or play games just dont study. So by the time you take you exams, you have expected a failing mark. If you get a passing mark then you'll surely be contented. And if you
get an A then im sure you'll be committing suicide for sheer happiness. You can still say that you did not study for that and thats why you didnt do well. And here is where the realization part kicks in. Brag internally. Tell yourself that you just didnt study and you know you can do better but u just didnt study. By now, you are not disappointed of your grade but instead contented with it.
With all stupidity aside, this is really the answer to not getting dissappointed. Well its not the point of not studying but actually its the "low expectancy" that is important. For one not to be disappointed, one should follow a simple rule. "Aim high but expect low." We should always strive for excellence and the best. WE should also do our best to achieve that but even having done our best, we should not expect to much from what we did. By doing this we always get contented with what we get for what we have done.(wtf, a pothead pointed that out to you, joke hehehe..) Life would be much sweeter after this. We would be happy and contented thus all else would follow.
Remember: "Aim high but expect low." That's the key to not being disappointed but rather enjoying life for its beauty and mystery.
(you dont need a rocket scientist to realize things. U just need a bottle of beer, some weed if you may or just a Pothead to make you realize things, hahahaha, enjoy life yardies, peace out)
